Aircraft-Grade Aluminum Construction

We machine the Redline 90 body from Type III anodized aluminum, the same material used in aerospace applications. This construction makes the flashlight exceptionally resistant to scratches, corrosion, and impact damage.
The anodizing process creates a hard oxide layer that protects the aluminum core. Drop it on concrete, expose it to rain or snow, and the Redline 90 keeps performing. The waterproof O-ring seals prevent moisture intrusion, so you can use this light in any weather condition. We’ve designed the knurled grip pattern to provide secure handling even with wet or gloved hands.
LED Performance & Runtime

High-Output LED Technology
The Redline 90 uses a precision-engineered LED that produces 90 lumens of focused white light. This output level strikes the ideal balance for close-to-medium range tasks without overwhelming your night vision or draining batteries rapidly.
Our reflector design creates a concentrated beam with approximately 50 meters of effective range. The LED never needs replacement and maintains consistent brightness throughout the battery life.
Tactical Tail-Cap Switch Design

We positioned the push-button switch in the tail cap for intuitive one-handed operation. Press the button to activate the light instantly, release to turn it off – no twisting bezels or complex modes to navigate in the dark.
This tactical design lets you maintain your grip while operating the switch with your thumb. The positive click feedback confirms activation even when you’re wearing gloves. The switch is recessed slightly to prevent accidental activation in your pocket or bag.

Common Questions About the Redline 90
The 90 lumen output is ideal for everyday tasks at close to medium range. You’ll get excellent visibility for automotive work, home inspections, camping, and navigating dark spaces up to approximately 50 meters.
This brightness level provides clear illumination without overwhelming your eyes in confined areas. It’s brighter than most smartphone lights while remaining energy-efficient for extended battery life.
We design the Redline 90 with waterproof O-ring seals that prevent moisture intrusion during rain, snow, and wet conditions. The anodized aluminum body and sealed construction protect the internal components.
While the 90 handles wet weather and splashes without issues, we don’t recommend submerging it for extended periods. For typical outdoor use including rainy camping trips, the waterproofing is more than sufficient.
The Redline 90 operates on three AAA batteries, which we include with every flashlight. You can use standard alkaline AAA batteries, lithium batteries for extended life in cold weather, or rechargeable NiMH batteries.
Battery life is approximately 4 hours of continuous use on high mode with quality alkaline cells. The tail-cap compartment makes battery changes quick and straightforward in the field.
The Redline 90 features a single high mode for simplicity and reliability. We designed it with one-touch tactical operation – press the tail switch for instant 90 lumen output, release to turn off.
This straightforward design eliminates mode cycling in urgent situations. If you need multiple brightness levels, consider our Redline 220 which offers high and low modes.
We back every Redline 90 with a limited lifetime warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own the flashlight. This warranty applies to the original purchaser.
If you experience manufacturing defects or component failures, contact our customer service team and we’ll resolve the issue. Normal wear, battery leakage, and accidental damage aren’t covered, but manufacturing defects are handled promptly.
Yes, the Redline 90 is permitted in both carry-on and checked luggage according to TSA regulations. The flashlight doesn’t contain any prohibited materials or components.
We recommend removing the batteries or ensuring the tail cap is tightened securely to prevent accidental activation during travel. Many travelers keep the 90 in their carry-on for convenient access during trips.
The primary difference is lumen output – the 90 produces 90 lumens in a single mode, while the Redline 220 delivers 220 lumens on high with an additional low mode.
Both share the same durable aluminum construction, waterproof design, and tactical tail switch. The 220 offers more versatility with multiple modes, while the 90 provides simplicity and longer battery runtime at a lower price point.
